ABOUT

I have been a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor for the past 20 years, since graduating from Indiana State with a BS in Exercise Science. While I still do fitness training as a career, I started picking up "odd jobs" on the side while the gyms were shut down, during the COVID pandemic, for the majority of 2020.
Having grown up on a farm, I seem to have accumulated of a wide array of skills that (as my wife continues to reiterate to me) are not necessarily things that "normal people" just "know how to do".
During college I worked as a car detailer, which is another "unique" ability that isn't necessarily "typical" of a HandyMan, but is worth noting. Being a high-demand service that I'm not only skilled in, I am able to offer it at a more reasonable cost than what most larger companies can.
First and foremost I am a husband and father. Having the ability to create my own schedule allows me to be available where, when, and for whom I need to be. This is not only a perk, but is imperative. Being available for the people I care about has always been my biggest priority. That, combined with my desire to help others, and my wide range of knowledge and capabilities, are what made the idea of being a "handyman" a reality, as it is a natural fit for me.
